In June 2020, Thunder Road Brewing in Brunswick wanted advice on installing a new pump line with a pipe material that could withstand chemicals above 90°C as well as caustic and diluted phosphoric acid.
After some research on suitable materials and a special order from our supplier, we installed approx 25 metres of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (C-PVC) throughout the brewer. C-PVC can handle the acidity and high temperatures of the liquids without breaking down – perfect for breweries and even some commercial kitchens.
