Terms and Conditions

By making a booking with Expert Plumbing & Gas Services, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Appointments, Cancellations and Access
Appointments are scheduled within an estimated time window. The customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of $50.00 including GST.

If our plumber attends the property and is unable to gain access, or the appointment is missed, the standard call-out fee of $94.00 including GST will be charged.

Time spent on site waiting for access will be charged at our standard rates.

Delays and Availability
EPGS reserves the right to delay or postpone works due to factors outside of our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, supplier delays, or staff availability.

Materials and Parts
EPGS does not carry all materials required for every job. Time spent sourcing, collecting, or delivering parts and materials will be charged, whether this occurs prior to or during the appointment.

Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to payment.

Waste Removal
Removal and disposal of waste, packaging, or old fixtures is not included unless otherwise specified.

Customer Supplied Items
We do not install second hand or customer supplied appliances, fixtures, or fittings unless agreed to in writing prior to works commencing.

Payment Terms
Accepted payment methods are outlined on your invoice.

To minimise the risk of cyber fraud, customers should verify any bank account details provided via email by contacting our office.

Credit card payments may attract a surcharge. Bank transfer payments do not incur additional fees from EPGS.

EPGS reserves the right to refuse cash payments. Cheques and money orders are not accepted.

Only one eligible discount may be applied per invoice.

Compliance and Certification
Where required by regulation, a Certificate of Compliance will be issued and charged accordingly.

Warranty
EPGS provides a 6 year warranty on labour for all new works.

Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to their terms and conditions.

Limitations on Repairs
Certain repairs may be subject to limitations due to the condition, design, or age of existing components.

Toilet cistern repairs: Internal components may fail unpredictably. If issues persist or recur, a return visit may be required. While the call-out fee may be waived, labour and materials will be charged.

Roof and leak repairs: Leak detection and repair cannot always be fully verified at the time of service. If the issue persists, a return visit may be required. While the call-out fee may be waived, labour and materials will be charged.

Safety Requirements
Additional safety equipment or personnel may be required to comply with WorkSafe regulations. Any additional costs will be discussed and charged accordingly.

Overdue Accounts
Late payment fees, interest, and debt collection costs may be applied to overdue invoices.
